Hot Air in City Hall, College Classes are Cool
Places of Public Assembly Can't Afford Equipment Breakdowns
|
Buildings open to the public depend on many types of equipment to provide electrical power, heat, air conditioning, ventilation, security and other basic services. Breakdowns like these are disruptive to equipment owners and the public.
 |
Broken Blades
An air intake fan broke apart in the ventilation system of a city hall. The excessive vibration that caused the breakdown was traced to a damaged or improperly installed spring. The fan motor, assembly and air diffuser had to be replaced.
